Legal English Courses

Legal English courses are intended for professionals who need training in the use of the legal language adopted internationally, with an emphasis on Contracts, Corporate Law, Business Law, Real Estate Law etc.

We basically offer two courses: Introduction to Legal English and Advanced Legal English.

The Introduction to Legal Englishcourse is aimed at intermediate level students. We will use the book "Introduction to International Legal English", adopting a communicative approach with an emphasis on presentations.
The Advanced Legal English course is aimed at students with upper-intermediate and advanced levels. We shall use the book “International Legal English” to help them become proficient in the use of legal English.

In Company Classes

Classes are given exclusively at clients’ premises, in a suitable place indicated by them.
The number of students can vary from 1 to 5 per class.
Classes last 55 minutes.

Cost

The cost of the courses is based on the number of hours/class and varies depending on the number of participants.

Legal English Seminars

Language Solutions and Page 20 Translations, two well-known legal translation companies, have brought together their expertise to convey the knowledge they have gained through decades of specialized work.

We have developed a unique product on the market: legal English seminars, as to know, concise and objective presentations, contextualizing concepts adopted in the areas of law (crash courses), with practices aimed at absorbing the terms presented.

This product is intended for lawyers and executives who have contact with or are interest in the internationally adopted legal language.

Seminars
Seminars last 2 hours and cover the following topics:

Contracts
Litigation (civil and criminal)
Intellectual Property
Taxation
Financial Market (securities)
Basic Legal English - Legal Systems (for professionals with an intermediate English level – given in Portuguese)

Other topics can be developed, and we may offer seminars on specific subjects as requested by clients.

Cost

Seminars are charged per participant, with a minimum of 10 participants per event.
